Our Commitment
Amiko is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation. We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for any content or behavior involving the sexual exploitation of minors (anyone under the age of 18). This policy applies to all parts of our platform, including user profiles, conversations, the feed, and AI creative tools.
Prohibited Content & Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Amiko:
- Any sexual, pornographic, or exploitative content involving minors (real or fictional)
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexualization of anyone under 18
- Using AI image, video, or audio generation tools to create CSAM or exploitative content
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Roleplay or fictional content that sexualizes minors
Violations result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
Age Requirements
Amiko is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and older. We do not allow users under 18 to create accounts or access the platform. We use reasonable measures to prevent underage access and will remove accounts if we become aware that a user is under 18.
How to Report Concerns
Users can report child safety concerns directly inside the Amiko app using the Report function, available on posts, profiles, messages, and creative outputs.
You can also report concerns by emailing us at safety@heyamiko.com.
How We Handle Reports
- All reports involving potential CSAE or CSAM are reviewed promptly by our team.
- Violating content is removed and the associated accounts are permanently banned.
- We preserve relevant evidence when required by law.
- We do not notify users when their content or account has been reported for child safety reasons.
Cooperation with Authorities
Amiko complies with applicable child safety laws. When we become aware of confirmed or apparent child sexual abuse material, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline and to relevant national or regional law enforcement authorities as required.
We respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement and will provide information necessary to support investigations into child exploitation.
Prevention Measures
We use a combination of measures to prevent CSAE on the platform:
- In-app reporting tools across feed, chat, profiles, and creative outputs
- Content moderation (automated signals + human review)
- Restrictions and monitoring on AI creative generation tools
- Account termination for policy violations
- 18+ age requirement with enforcement actions
